We've had Band on the Run, Ram, the McCartney albums and Wings Over America. Rumours were that Venus and Mars and then Speed of Sound were next up. However I am now wondering if the whole project has been revised?
Does anyone have any more information about the "Remasters". I am wondering if sales were not as good as first anticipated and the project has been slowed down
Maybe the collection will be completed in Paul's lifetime? Who knows?

Wogblog say V&M and Wings at the Speed of Sound are both coming June 17th. Of course I don't believe anything until Steve says so.

I am living for deluxe Wings Wild Life. It would be nice to also have the deluxe Red Rose Speedway as I would love to have the deluxe versions of the albums that make up The JSD Postulate!

I suspect it is just a matter of waiting. Who knows, maybe WWL and RRS will appear around Christmas time? That would make four reissues in the year, which would seem necessary if this program is ever going to be completed within a reasonable time frame.

Back to the immediate releases, do we have any ideas what we'll be getting?
There are some great alt versions of the Venus and Mars tracks. The copies I have sound a little tape slurred.
But judging from the other releases, I don't think we're getting alt tracks.

Paul message from Facebook - "This week in 1975 Wings released the album ‘Venus and Mars’. Here’s a photo of the band from the album’s artwork taken in the Mojave Desert, by Aubrey Powell. Let us know your favourite song(s) from the album in the comments below…" Is this a teaser maybe?

I am living for deluxe Wings Wild Life. Is the rumour true that they are planning to include a special extended version of Mumbo, specifically intended for dancing naked round campfires to while shaking nude derrieres, and calling it Bumbo?

Yesterday PopMarket had several of the Macca remastered album boxsets on sale for the lowest prices thus far and I snagged the Macca II box for $49.99. Time was about to expire otherwise I would have posted the link here.
But keep your eyes peeled, the BOTR, Macca, Macca II, Ram and WOA boxes are dropping in price and are becoming much more reasonable. V&M and SOS were not on sale yesterday but they are newer.

Yeah, well I paid full price when McCartney II came out. And you know what? Not one single picture of a sheep. Not one!

The talk is that TOW/POP will come out in the northern autumn. I don't know if that means September, October, or November. Looks like another year with only two releases.

Hmm, which local banks to rob to afford the deluxe versions. I so don't give a rat's ass about these two releases. If Wings Wild Life and Red Rose Speedway were being issued, I'd do The Mumbo Stomp in Times Square. But not for these nice little plastic suburban Pop albums. They were slick and pleasant but not one bit of fierce Rock and Roll on either!

I'd definitely buy TOW/POP.
There is no way i'd buy McCartney 2, that album just doesn't cut it for me personally.
I just hope he didn't pair it with Driving Rain. Imagine getting those 2 stinkers for the same price as any 2 Macca classics.
OOOh...Nasty business.

I like to see these at the highest prices possible, to maximise the amount I'm saving by not buying them.

Sometimes I have half a mind to buy you one of these Macca re-issues(or The Beatles, Lennon or Harrison) just so you knew what you were missing but I am afraid that you would just use it as a doorstop!

No, I wouldn't use them as doorstops. Too light.
