Sorry Stavros! As soon as I try to ID the Give More Love owners, I miss someone important! I did not go back far enough in this Thread. I hope someday MikeV will join us! I hope someday MikeV will join us And the world will be as one......
But joking apart. I also think it's a shame Ringo can't build any sort of momentum with his releases these days. I don't think I've heard a 'new' Ringo track on radio or TV over here since La-De-Da was released. Maybe there just aren't enough people who are paying attention or even care any more?

I almost felt like Pete Best after that post JSD! Let me correct that list for you 1. KC 2. Joe Karlosi 3. Debjorgo 4. JSD 5. Stavros I am still enjoying this album. One of Ringo's best efforts for sure. Sorry Stavros! As soon as I try to ID the Give More Love owners, I miss someone important! I did not go back far enough in this Thread. I hope someday MikeV will join us! I'm happy with my Youtube version of the songs...maybe I'll download the two songs with Paul. And I did enjoy all of the remakes. Hey I'm a big Rotogravure fan!

To say I am disappointed is an understatement! Go Sentimental Journey, ahead of its time by 30 to 40 years!

Where is Time Takes Time? It's a pity. The album most of us here think is the best album next to Ringo, did not chart.

I played Give More Love again today (Sunday) and I'm still liking it. I have more appreciation for Show Me The Way than I previously stated, but I really just wanted to say, for me, Speed Of Sound is the best Ringo recording since Never Without You. I love it.

I hadn't heard it yet. I'm just letting them pop up in a New Music playlist. I listened to the remakes when I got the disk. I like them all. I just listened to Speed of Sound, per you rave. I agree with you. It sounds like your standard new Ringo track until Ringo steps it up a notch or two. The music does the same. It's an excellent track. Ringo breaks through.

I like that towards the end of "Speed Of Sound," Ringo namechecks some song titles from the Wings album of the same name! "She's my baby and she is a Wino Junko/Beware My Love of Silly Love Songs." Just kidding. My favorite is "Shake It Up" but I like all of them!
