The Colts are starting off with a decimated offensive line. That is not a good thing for any team. All-Pro Center Jeff Saturday is out for four to six weeks with orthoscopic knee surgery. We do have atomic bomb hitting Bob Sanders back for now at least(he's injury prone) and defensive end Dwight Freeney is looking amazing after playing seriously hurt in the Super Bowl. Anthony Gonzalez, one of our offensive ends, is back to give even more depth to our passing game. To win, the Colts need their O-Line intact! GO COLTS!

I really, really try to ignore pre-season. Today the 49er's kicked the Colts' asses once QB Peyton Manning was removed after two series. Manning made things look easy: 16 plays, 10 points, take a breather. What I can't forgive is our back-up QB Curtis Painter who is the worst QB in the whole NFL. That guy looks like Hermey the dentist elf from the animated "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer." Painter plays like an elf. If Manning goes down we are hosed. No back-up plan whatsoever. Oh, it is starting, no wonder I am developing hyper-tension!

Jaguars over Colts, 31-28 OUCH! So sorry JohnS. Thanks but I'm cool. A rookie receiver for the Colts let a perfect Manning strike bounce off his breastplate into the hands of a defender in the red zone costing us that touchdown. Veteran ace Reggie Wayne(who still had a great day) fumbled a great pass trying to get some extra yards in the red zone costing us another sure touchdown. Manning led us across the field to a game tying touchdown with under 2 1/2 minutes to play and we lost on a 59 yard field-goal as time expired. Give me either of those stolen touchdowns back and we win. Give me both(they were sure things without the turnovers) and we would have had a blow-out. No panic in Indy as we almost won a conference game on the road with several key injuries going into the game.

My two favorite pro football teams: the Chargers and anyone who is playing the Raiders. Go Stillers! Man, did you see that game, sayne? It was like every play they were giving us a penalty for whatever reason. And poor Big Bad Ben getting slammed in the face...WTF??? That guy should be suspended for the rest of the season AND pay a $1,000,000 fine! Talk about unsportsmanlike conduct! Well, if they wanted to reignite the rivalry from years past, they sure did a heck of a good job of it! ;D GO STILLERS!!!!JCV

Crap. The Chargers are out. Those early losses (which they have every year) just caught up with them. Doesn't help to have many of your starting players out (injuries, suspension, jail, etc) during crucial times of the year. Good luck to the rest of you who are in or still in the hunt.

I am stunned about the "Bolts." You guys had an awesome Defense as the Colts learned to our detriment. The Colts' chances to get in the playoffs seem better than they did just three weeks ago and if we win Sunday we win the Division. No Super Bowl this year for the Colts I am afraid but after our string of injuries to impact players, I'm thrilled just to be competing for the playoffs.

. . . The Colts' chances to get in the playoffs seem better than they did just three weeks ago . . . Why in the heck did you guys call a time out during that last minute!? You had it and let them back in by letting them regroup. Very infuriating, and I wasn't even vested in the game.

A nice guy but weak. He inherited a great team but we are seeing the results of ineffective coaching. Good examples are our horrible Kick-off team and Kick-off return team. That's bad coaching, not putting the right players in there. All year both have sucked but nothing changed.

GO STILLERS!!!!JCV Just so you don't think I'm a bad guy, I don't really care for any of the 4 teams. I guess I lean towards the Jets, but only because I'm an old AFL guy. Guess it's another year of just sitting back and enjoying football for sake of the game, without any bias. Good luck, though.

Guess it's another year of just sitting back and enjoying football for sake of the game, without any bias. Good luck, though. I was born and raised in Northwest Indiana so I was reared a Chicago Bears fan as bad as they were in the 1960's and 1970's. There were no Indianapolis Colts back then, only Baltimore Colts. Once my State of Indiana got an NFL team, I pledged primary allegiance to the team in my beloved Indiana. Still, I keep track of the Bears so I will be cheering for them. It was nice though of the Colts to let the Jets have some glory this year. ;D

Because Da Bearsss have too many players in the NFL HOF and have won too many NFL World Championships, they have been denied their rightful place in the Super Bowl to play against the mighty Steelers. I had dinner tonight with Da Coach, Mike Ditka, at his restaurant and I think I saw a tear behind his Ray Ban Aviator sun glasses. A sad day in Bearsss Nation but this too shall pass. My Super Bowl pick... Da Steelers!!!! With this pick I have joined the dark side of the force but only temporarily. ;D

It's very bright over here! ;D Sorry your Bears lost. I tuned in near the end to watch your third-string QB play. Looks like you have promise in him! Too bad about Jay Cutler. You guys had a good run this year. You know, Mike Ditka is from the 'burgh and also has a restaurant here, so don't feel too sorry for him. He's happy as a clam right now! There are a lot of ties between the 'burgh and the Pack. This is going to be a very good game!! And I'll be A LOT warmer 'cause I'll be at my brother's place in Florida for the show. ;D GO STILLERS!!!!JCV
