We have a sunday newspaper here, the Sunday Mail. There is a short interview with Ringo in it today.
To the question, "There have been songs about your home town on each of your last three albums - what is it about Liverpool that has had such an affect on your life," Ringo replies, "rather than write a book I am planning to do a mini-autobiography of songs, but I am still in Liverpool, I haven't got to London yet. But I grew up in Liverpool so those are the biggest memories you will ever have."
Unfortunately, that is all the detail that he provides.
I read elsewhere that Ringo was working with Dave Stewart on a musical, so I suppose that this is also about that project.

I read elsewhere that Ringo was working with Dave Stewart on a musical, so I suppose that this is also about that project. The mini-autobiography probably refers to the series of songs he's done on his last few albums about Liverpool. He's said it's his way of doing his memoirs instead of a book. (Which is strange, because he did a book already.) But I guess rather than have to hassle with a tell-all or tell-almost-all, he's writing songs. A good thing.
