That is cool! Poor Brian. By 1967 Jagger and Richards were firmly in control of The Rolling Stones and writing songs that were competitive with Lennon/McCartney. Brian couldn't sing and wasn't blessed with songwriting ability.
What goes around though comes around and I've read that Brian was a controlling tyrant in the early days of the Stones when they were a R & B covers band. He played Mick and Keith against each other as they both hero worshipped him early on.
I have read Bill Wyman flat out say Brian wasn't a very nice guy.

I was surprised to find out that he already had 4-5 kids (and no wives, I think) BEFORE Satisfaction came out!

Jim Morrison idolized Brian Jones. Jim saw him once in L.A., at a distance, but never met him.
(Jim, however, did meet Mick Jagger at his girlfriend's pad in L.A. Mick came to check out The Doors at the Hollywood Bowl in late summer '68.)
