Someone screwed up. This was a hologram made from video from the Soundstage show a few years back.

Almost missed this program on AXS TV (well, did miss the 1st 5 minutes, so not sure what happened or who performed).
SPOILER ALERT
The Head and Heart did a nice version of "Octopus' Garden" . Some dude named Brendan or Brandon (someone...missed his name) just did a subdued "Don't Know Where the Road Don't Go". Glad someone is covering these songs in concert :/.

ANOTHER SPOILER ALERT
The most unrecognizable version of a solo Beatles song that I've ever heard....a female blues version of "It Don't Come Easy". That's not a bad thing though. Bettye Lavette is a pretty hot performer.

SPOILER ALERT #3
Ben Folds does a kick-ass version of "Oh My My" and Ben Harper does a soulful take on "Walk With You". Why are these songs NOT done by Ringo anymore?
By the way, some of the usual suspects, including Peter Frampton and Steve Lukather, are in the band.

SPOILER ALERT #4
Brother-in-law Joe does a madman rendition of "Back off Boogaloo", with vocal emphasis on BACK OFF. Great guitar work breathes life into this moldie oldie of Ringo's.

By the way, I wish Frampton would re-join the All-Starrs. He and Steve Lukather are a nice tag team in this band.

Brendon Benson was in The Raconteurs with Jack White. Don't Go Where the Road Don't Go sounded pretty rockin' to me.

Boys and ALHFMF. Man, all of the artists took chances with Ringo's catalog. But not our boy Ringo:/. Peace Out!

You know, I'd buy this if an album was released. Pretty good show.

SPOILER ALERT #4 Brother-in-law Joe does a madman rendition of "Back off Boogaloo", with vocal emphasis on BACK OFF. Great guitar work breathes life into this moldie oldie of Ringo's. Joe never does do the mail guitar riff from Boogaloo. You're a little ahead of me theman. I let it record a while before I started watching. This is a good show. I don't mind the spoiler.

I just spotted Johnny Edgar Winter and I think Jeff Lynne singing backup with Frampton on Little Help From My Friends.
Wasn't the guy with the white flat top Eric Burdon? I just got a couple of looks at him but that's what he looks like now.

It was the guy who looked like this. Beatles' Magazine confirms he was there. beatlesmagazine.blogspot.com/2014/06/ringo-starr-lifetime-of-peace-and-love_30.html

I don't know if I even get AXS on Comcast! I watch about four channels on my cable subscription.

Watched this again and enjoyed it. Would be interested in a recording of these "creative" versions of Ringo tunes, but not holding my breath.
Planning to see the 2nd phase of the All-Starr's in Kansas City in early October.
