Hello fellow Beatles fans. This is my first thread on here. I’ve seen a lot of posts about what if they didn’t break up. But I’ve always been curious about what their music would’ve sounded like if they hadn’t. How would All Things Must Pass or Imagine sound if George Martin was at the helm? How would’ve John contributed to one of Paul’s songs or vice versa? I’d like to hear your guy’s ideas!

It is hard to imagine ATMP or John's Imagine and POB with George Martin as producer rather than Phil Spector! As to the band contributions, I think the involvement of all four would have made those early Solo songs even better although as with songs from the White Album and AR, the Beatle who wrote the song would be boss of it so we might not have had radical changes to any of those great Solo songs we did in fact get in 1970 and 1971. They might still sound much like they actually do even if done by the Fabs.
There was a lot of strong material in those early post-Beatles years so maybe had The Beatles stayed together they would not have skipped a beat and in fact made their all time best album in 1971.
The best songs from John's POB, Imagine combined with Paul's best from Macca 1 and Ram with the best from ATMP would have made an album to blow every other Beatles album out of the water! I firmly believe that!
So I do think we missed one fantastic Beatles' album(but gained five great Solo albums) but history also shows the guys did not keep up that initial amazing pace(with some exceptions of course) so maybe things worked out as they were suppose to.
But damn, that hypothetical 1971 Beatles' album would have been a monster, every song capable of being a #1 or a classic deep cut for the ages.

Hmmm.... care to elaborate on what that album would’ve looked like?
