That was cool, Fred! (Too bad you couldn't get close enough to ask for an autograph - although methinks that's just as well! ) But yes, happy birthday, Ringo - and many more!

In case you didn't hear, Paul showed up and sang. I'm writing it up now.

So how was it, Fred? {Addendum} Nevermind, Fred, I didn't see the other thread when I posted the above.

Here's a video of Ringo with the special guests at Radio City. So, who's the great humanitarian who turned off Yoko's mike? ;D

Here are some of my pictures from the show... First of all, you needed a ticket to get in... here's mine... ...those who ordered Print-At-Home ducats got something that looked like this... Pre-show crowds in the lobby... Ringo on stage during the opening number... Looks like he's looking right at me... Ringo sitting silently, in the darkness, during Rick Derringer's guitar solo... Ringo's got it goin' on... "With A Little Help From My Friends," Yoko in particular... Hope there's enough cake for everybody... What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you, but I think it's Paul's... "Birthday" with special surprise guest Paul McCartney... The view from my seat (first mezzanine, fourth row) during McCartney's appearance... Ringo and Paul on stage together... Finally, a post-concert look at the venue... If you want to see more of my pictures from the show, they're on Flickr and you can get to 'em right here.

Wow, Gary, thanks for posting those, they're great! Now I've got to look for myself in the lobby or the main hall...

Those are great pics, Gary! And welcome as the Dr. has already said. What kind of camera did you use. I always look at my crappy cell-phone pictures from concerts and wonder why I even bother, even when I could count Angus Young's nosehairs with my own naked eye at an AC/DC concert in 2008 yet my cell-phone camera made it look a million miles away!
