MTB1 by a huge margin. I understand the placement of the big hit single first, but the "one two three FAWH" should have opened the album. That aside, "Please Please Me" can't battle all the firepower assembled on MTB1 by itself, but it has no help from the rest of the side.
MTB 1 is a strong contender to win this tourney, methinks...

MEET THE BEATLES (SIDE 1)
I never thought about that, but JoeySelf is right on the placement of "I Saw Her Standing There." It should have been first.
Yet what an album side! Not even an average track to be found. Is it any wonder The Beatles conquered America?
"Please Please Me' is a beast though that single-handily could slay many a fine opponent! But "A Taste Of Honey" is the absolute kiss of death, a song no self-respecting Rock Band should ever do:
"He'll be back(he'll be back), For the honey(for the honey), And SPEW!"

MEET THE BEATLES (SIDE 1) 2. I Saw Her Standing There 4. It Won't Be Long 6. All My Loving
THE EARLY BEATLES (SIDE 2) 2. PS I Love You 3. Baby It's You 5. Do You Want To Know A Secret
A tie on the numbers. I Saw Her Standing There is the best song.
MEET THE BEATLES (SIDE 1) gets my vote.

I vote for MTB 1 by a wide margin. "Please Please Me" is great, but every other song on MTB 1 is way ahead of anything else on TEB 2. This is one album where the US version is clearly superior to the UK version (WITH THE BEATLES) in my opinion. Certainly this side of MEET THE BEATLES for sure. You get the great single "I Want To Hold Your Hand", followed by what is (along with the title song) the best track from PLEASE PLEASE ME (and a top 10 US hit as the B side to IWTHYH) with "I Saw Her Standing There". This is followed by the first great Beatles ballad with the great 3 part harmonies, "This Boy". "It Won't Be Long" is a great "single that never was" (and I love the word play of "be long" and "belong"). "All I've Got To Do" is probably my least favorite on this side and since I like it a lot (and John has a great vocal) that in itself is quite a statement about the strength of this side. And the side closes with the great "All My Loving" that was a hit as an import from Canada and a fantastic overall song. (and the first song the Beatles played on the EdSullivan Show!) THE EARLY BEATLES (side 2) didn't stand a chance. In fact, I was surprised it got by HELP (side 1), which had 4 songs superior to any TEB 2 track outside of "Please Please Me". MEET THE BEATLES SIDE 1 leads 4-0.
