So nobody mentioned Yoko turning 80 yesterday (February 18th)? I wasn't around yesterday but figured somebody would have mentioned it. That's a pretty monumental number.

Now what happened in the world of The Beatles this week? Oh yea, Tony Sheridan passed away. Wow, he had quite a relationship with the band in the early days..... Seriously, Paul's comment about Tony's passing seemed to me to be pretty blase. But then again, his first reaction to John's death in 1980 wasn't much more than that as well.....

. . . I wasn't around yesterday . . . So, you ceased to exist yesterday? Away in another dimension? Went back in time?

Paul's personality must have rubbed on some of our posties here, lowbasso....? There hasn't been much of a reaction for Yoko, condolences for the fab mentor Tony (Paul called him teacher?), worse still no get well wishes for poor Henry McCullough (should see all the wishes he got from Beatle fans on Facebook?), and his approaching the death bed as well? (Ahh, probably someone will reply with *He was only one of Paul's sidemen, and not worth worrying about*... ) Instead we waste all this time, with long messages on how Song A is better than Song B, or the fabs going backwards or sideways?? (which I guarantee you Paul or Ringo, wouldn't give a rats with ?) Health ain't #1 with some people here???

Happy birthday Yoko!

Never cared much for Yoko. I don't think she treated Julian fairly. But, then again, neither did John. Sad.
