Released on his birthday, Julian's new single *Someday* featuring Steve Tyler.....
Sounds great, love how he and Steve blend well together, and how they also blend the fabs *Baby Your a Rich Man* into the song....*Beautiful*

Very nice blend indeed! Hope this charts- it is certainly good enough. Tyler's Come Together and Earth Wind & Fire's Got to Get You Into My Life were the only real decent tunes from that dreadful Sgt. pepper movie.

All right, Julian! Its the best thing I've heard from his since Valotte. Very Beatle-esque.

Good song! I don't care much for Tyler but he works here. Good job Julian! Rocko, I had a dream that I answered this post but looking today I see I hadn't!

Good song! I don't care much for Tyler but he works here. Good job Julian! I like the song, but the fact he injected so much Beatles into it bothers me since he's always tried to separate himself from his father. So now dad's OK?

He's borrowed a page from Ringo of name-checking Beatles stuff and that is always an artistic red flag!

Come on. He had a John look-a-like in the Too Late For Goodbyes video.

Come on. He had a John look-a-like in the Too Late For Goodbyes video. That's true, but he's also tried to distance himself from the Beatle thing. Take a look at his Facebook page. It's just him. But on his music, he reverts.

I think I read somewhere Julian's spent a lot of money buying up Beatles memorabilia. Does anyone know if he's covered any Beatles songs? I know Sean has (saw a concert video of him and Rufus Wainwright covering "Across the Universe"). If anybody has a right to cover "Lucy in the Sky" and "Hey Jude" its Julian considering he helped to inspire them.

Julian had performed Day Tripper, Stand By Me and Johnny Be Goode (with Chuck Berry) during his early live performances. Later he sang "When I'm 64" for a commercial. He has also done decent studio covers of Ruby Tuesday and Dave Clark's Because.
