This is a totally hypothetical exercise although there are times when it has happened for real.
So which Beatles songs do you think could have been done by a different vocalist (leaving egos to one side).
Here's a few I've thought of off the top of my head to start off with.
John thought “Oh! Darling” was right up his street. He even said as much himself :
"'Oh! Darling' was a great one of Paul's that he didn't sing too well. I always thought I could have done it better—it was more my style than his. He wrote it, so what the hell, he's going to sing it."
Not sure he could have hit the same high notes a young Macca did back then but maybe a lower key would have resulted in something interesting.
Good Night – John wrote it. Should he have sung it?
All You Need is Love – I really think Ringo could have led the vocals on this one. It’s a “Three Blind Mice” type chord structure and quite a simple but effective anthem.
Across the Universe – I can imagine George singing this one if it was similar to the Anthology version.
Helter Skelter – Could John have handled it as well as Paul?
Finally I think Paul’s version of All Things Must Pass is excellent.
Any other ideas?

Forgot this one where Paul sings "I Want You" That's the famous "fake" one, though he sang a version briefly during Get Back and also in February 1969 when they reconvened with Billy Preston.

There's the Get Back versions with John singing lead and another with George singing lead.

Strongly disagree on All You Need Is Love, Across The Universe and Helter Skelter. All Things Must Pass fine with either Paul or George. I've wished I could hear Do You Want To Know A Secret with John on lead.

I don't agree on OH! DARLING... I love that vocal, and literally feel it's one of the best Paul has ever done in his whole career. I can't see John matching it, honestly.

I think that sounds like John singing guide vocal on I Want You, not Paul.

This is a neat topic.
I love the "I've Got A Feeling" posted above! John does a very nice job on it although I was kind of hoping that Paul would come in on the, "Everybody had a hard year..."
I also loved that "I Want You." Mike, is that not the Beatles playing the musical backing? It is more raucous than the AR musical backing. That sounds like Paul singing and doing a fine job.
We know from BBC 1 that John runs circles around Ringo on "Honey Don't." Not even close as HD with Ringo is a novelty song but it has some passion with John on lead vocal.

I originally thought that I Want You was the real deal back in the 80s when I first heard it. But, so many people have dismissed it. If it was that complete of a take, why not on Anthology? Lewishon had access to the tapes, so he should know best. He called it an experimental take by Paul, so who knows?

I think that sounds like John singing guide vocal on I Want You, not Paul. Now you've brought this up, parts of the vocal do sound like John is singing. Could it be a bit of jiggery pokery by someone to create one of those outfakes? If this is fake then is there is a different version where Paul definitely sings? I'm sure I have heard it but maybe the mind is playing tricks on me. As Mikev says if it was genuine why was it left of Anthology? But then again there are some decent versions of other more obvious cuts like a live "Revolution" or "Don't Let Me Down" that didn't make Anthology.

I did not care for "I'm So Tired" as sung by Paul. The right Beatle sang that.

I Lost My Little Girl - John sings Paul's first ever written song.
I like the pure sense of fun of this.
Paul doing it live in a more polished if less interesting version
