I'm trying not to focus on why he died, which has me in disbelief, but how wild and funny he was. Loved many of his movies -- "Aladdin," "Hook" (I remember taking my son to that ... we both adored it), "Moscow on the Hudson", but he was such a genius.

And of course there is the Paul McCartney connection. Young Boy and The World Tonight were used in his movie Father's Day.

I've been sad and teary since learning the news on Monday.
Robin and I graduated from the same high school--he completed a year before me. I was in a class with him and we had mutual friends. I am so sad to learn of his passing.

Wow! Didn't know that, scousette! But yes, R.I.P., Mr. Williams.

((hugs)) I never got to see him perform on stage, but when the Giants behind Tim Linsecum beat the Braves in the playoffs in 2010, the Giants introduced him to the crowd and he gave a little bit of a pep talk. It was very cool.
