. . . but back in the old days (last year) people around here used to wish each other a Happy Thanksgiving. I waited and waited and waited, but no one stepped up, sooooooo here I am, just like last year, starting the thread again.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Mine was a veggie meal in 80 degree weather. Roll call.

Hard for Thanksgiving to be genuinely "happy" these days, what with crap like the Ferguson riots carrying on while a surreal "SEASONS GREETINGS" banner hangs in their war-torn streets. (I don't mind being a proud old fart ) . But I hope everyone had a 'personal' Happy Thanksgiving, though. I ate my annual turkey dinner, and took an extra helping to cover Sir Paul and sayne.

Belated Thanksgiving greetings to all! I enjoyed a quiet turkey (with all the trimmings) dinner with family.

I think it's great these days that not only do they let you know where the turkey was sourced/lived but they even let you know its personality. I hope people enjoyed their Thanksgiving. I didn't take part because I'm not American but I do give thanks every day to the stars that died so I can live.

I hope everyone had a great day that we give thanks to the deity/stars/karma/or no-one-in-particular of our choice and I hope that carries on to the holiday season.
I had free-range raised turkey and veggie lasagna so I sat on the fence.
sayne is right that we have perhaps grown hardened here. I wish there was a way us regulars here at Abbeyrd's Beatles Page Message Board II could pool our talents and resources to help our fellow hupersons.
