It's good news that the blog will live on. Hopefully what I have bookmarked will be the new stories and not he same page every time.
Billboard story? Beatles 1 blu-ray mention?
I'd have to say the Beatles' 1 mention has the Billboard one beat. But both are pretty major.

Hey Steve, you are doing better in BILLBOARD than Paul McCartney has in decades!
Congrats on the write-up.

Hey Steve, you are doing better in BILLBOARD than Paul McCartney has in decades! Congrats on the write-up. If Paul doesn't write a new hit soon he will never be allowed into Night Clubs For Rappers in LA ever again....

Congrats Steve
Does that mean you will remove the Examiner Headings on the front page and replace them with your new columns ?

Now that things have settled a bit, I can say that I will be mainly on Billboard and AXS.com for the time being. I didn't say it when it all came down, but folks, I have to say, writing for Billboard has been a dream of mine for a long time. I still don't believe it's happening. Sometimes, things happen that make you realize you're a little too critical of yourself. This is one of those things. This is like hitting a home run in the ninth inning of the seventh game of the World Series.

When I was a kid, whenever I would go to the public library, I would always check out the Billboard magazines. I'd go through the current ones and then go back to the archive issues. At work, I am the go-to person with the "who sung that, when did this come out" questions. A lot of that comes from those days going through those magazines. Congratulations! I'll be looking forward to all the up-coming stories.

Hey Steve,
Congrats on the Billboard gig. When I got out of college, I actually interviewed with Billboard for an entry level marketing job. I was excited, like a kid in a candy store. That dream didn't pan out, but things worked out OK😀.
Billboard and aXs are two pretty good gigs. Congrats again.
