Santa Clause died? I don't see Carrie. Picture was created before yesterday's news. PS; I think Santa spells his last name "Claus." Not sure how old you are, so I won't say anything more about Santa in case you really believe.....

I am afraid that it will only get worse as none of us are getting younger and our Rock and Roll heroes from the 1950's and 1960's are pretty old. Hell, our heroes from the 1970's and 1980's are getting up there. Beatles fans have already been hit hard and John's murder in particular still hurts so bad but even George's passing was terribly unfair. Some of us are just hoping to see a gloriously restored Let It Be with lots of extra bonus material before we pop off!

Not a good year in that respect. Every day I wake up realizing that we may lose another of our '60s, '70s, '80s heroes. I have been braced for Paul and Ringo for a long time. Hope they're around a long time. George's death was sadly untimely as he was too young ... but when you smoke, you do take a risk.

Unfortunately, George and the other Beatles started smoking back in the 50s. Back when 9 out of 10 doctors recommended Camels. Once you get hooked, it's so hard to quit.

Maybe that's why he has been snubbing me all these years! Two more days. Maybe that's all the "Ciaos" for this year. Sneak Carrie and Debbie on to the picture and we're done!

I think one thing that we can take away from 2016 is that some of us are getting older and that the realization of our mortality has started to kick in. Not to be sad but make good use of each day and the time you have.
