I've been listening to the Esher demos included with this re-release. Sour Milk Sea could have been so good if completed, either by the Beatles, or Harrison alone. George, of course, eventually released solo versions of Not Guilty and Circles, but why not Sour Milk Sea? Did he give the song no further thought after giving it to Lomax?

Somebody did a pretty decent mash up of the Lomax version with Georgeβs bootleg Esher demo vocal. Would have been another George 1968 rocker with EC on guitar.
