I've recently learnt that George Harrison's follow up song to Don't Bother Me was going to be a song called You Know What To Do.
For some reason the song was never fully recorded by the Beatles and it slipped into history until the Beatles Anthology.
It was track 19, side 2 on Anthology 1, i somehow missed it's potential significance when i listened to this cd when it was first released in the 90's.
I think it's worthy of Song of the Week.

This song completely went under the radar at the time of A1 but I thought that it was a huge deal! An unknown early George song!
I think it is cool and sung with that early George sincerity that we would hear on "I Need You" and "You Like Me Too Much."
To this day I view "You Know What To Do" as a real Anthology treasure. Previously I had never read a single word on this song so what a cool surprise!
