Anyone watching FX Pistol on HULU?
All six episodes are available.
You might recognize Malcolm McLaren as being played by Paul McCartney. Well, Thomas Brodie-Sangster who played Paul in Nowhere Boy.

There are a surprising amount of Beatle references. Usually negative but.... And I never knew Chrissie Hynde had such a great body. Of course she's not usually this naked when I see her.

Yes, I've seen it. It's not very good, but for me worth watching because it was informative to an extent. I agree with thoughts on Chrissie Hynde's role. I knew she was part of the group, but I really had no idea how major she was. She was the only sensible one of them all - and truly serious about making it. I could feel her pain about the sexism she had to face by various musicians and media people. I've known from the beginning about the anti-Beatles sentiments by the punks( most of the 1st Gen people got it). But, it was funny how Glen Matlock was always going on and and on and on about the greatness of the Beatles and Macca and how he slammed and, ultimately, got canned for it. Chrissy Hynde did tell Steve Jones how he was stupid to get rid of Glen because he was their best musician and song writer. Glen was brought back later for reunion shows. My opinion, don't expect much from the series, a bit too romanticizing and slick, but it does reveal stuff, like the genesis of the lyrics for "Bodies." (If true, ) I guess it's worth watching, but just don't expect greatness.

Lydon isn't too keen on it.
It kind of sounds like Lydon might had been okay with it if they'd been up front with him about it and got his input.
