Mrs Mills is Gladys Jordan, also known as Gladys Mills. She had hits in the UK in early '62, "Mrs Mills Medley" making the top ten. It is also the name of her 1905 Steinway Vertigrand upright piano, that was stored at what is now known as Abbey Road Studios. The Beatles used Mrs Mills on many of their recordings, including Lady Madonna, Ob La Di, Rocky Raccoon.... Eddie Vedder pays tribute to Mrs Mills on his latest album. According to Vedder, Paul tried to buy Mrs Mills, the piano, but was not able to. Oh yeah. Ringo plays drums on the song.
