I've taken Paul's setlist from Quebec and pruned it way back for new growth. I've seen Paul solo during every tour since 1976, so I looked at the list and took out what I don't want him to do if he tours again. What would yours look like?
Got To Get You Into My Life Calico Skies Mrs Vanderbilt A Day In A Life / Give Peace a Chance Back In The USSR Hey Jude I Saw Her Standing There Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Pretty sparce. I suppose I could have taken more out and just leave "Hey Jude" and "A Day in the Life/Give Peace a Chance", but the others would be okay for me. I bet some of you would scratch the entire set while others of you would keep over 90%. Where are you in the spectrum?

I pretty much agree with your list. I don't know if he did Lady Madonna, but that always goes over well. I like Too Many People, I just wish Paul would do the lead as he did on the record. You probably have to include Let It Be and Yesterday. But you're right it needs some new growth.
How about:
Junior's Farm Hold Me Tight (Beatles version) Hands of Love (From RRSpeedway) The Mess Soily I'm Looking Through You You Won't See Me What You're Doing Every Little Thing (yeah that was Paul's) Day Tripper (mostly John's but Paul did sing the verses) She's A Woman She Loves You Hope Of Deliverance Beautiful Night Only Love Remains Wanderlust Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey Monkberry Moon Delight

"She Loves You" would be fantastic, but "Hand" would be even better. "Wanderlust" is also a great choice, it's one of Paul's most beautiful melodies. But the shocker here is "Only Love Remains"--I thought I was the only person alive who would check the box on that one. I would rather hear OLR than "Yesterday" for the 549th time.
But Paul ain't never gonna diss "Yesterday." The world would spin off its axis. Which is not to be confused with that horrid song on "Driving Rain." Or should I say ONE of the horrid songs on DR?

I adore ONLY LOVE REMAINS. It should have been the lead single from PRESS TO PLAY.

I agree that Only Love Remains should have been the Lead Single from Press To Play. I wonder how it would have fared. Probably better than Press to be truthful. It's funny that Macca has had a few excellent Ballads buried throught his career. One Of Therse Days from Macca II come to mind. Great Stuff!!

Press To Play is my favourite Paul solo album.
Only Love Remains is another great ballad by Paul.

Every concert needs a "bathroom/beer run" moment. ;D ;D ;D

Every concert needs a "bathroom/beer run" moment. ;D ;D ;D Sadly, you are right sayne. I love "Only Love Remains" too but the crowds would flock out to buy beer and go to the bathroom. I watched them do it to every song from Chaos in 2005 so this 1986 ballad would have fared no better. I was in the bathroom in Columbus, Ohio just as Fine Line started(I forget what song I left during to go but I had to go!) and I nearly got killed from the rush of men entering the john during this new song so they wouldn't miss one of the so called precious moments. I'd love to see RTP's proposed setlist but most of the people at the two Paul 2005 shows I attended would have been pissed!
