www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/06/2 ... 22791.html Interesting story. You've probably all seen Roger Friedman's stories on Fox News.com in the past. He was huge on Michael Jackson stories to the point of obsessiveness. Also not the most accurate guy in the world as many of his "scoops" on Jackson never happened. He was also the author of a "scoop" on Julian Lennon that I was able to dispel through word indirectly from Julian himself. Anyway, he was fired by Fox News a couple of months ago. Why? Reviewing a movie (and a Fox studio movie, no less) that he downloaded illegally from the web. Now he's suing Fox for $5.2 million for wrongful termination, blaming his sacking on Scientologists. (Apparently some of his columns were critical of them.) What a jerk. I would never ever root for Rupert Murdoch, the chairman of News Corp., on anything -- except this.
