Without reviewing Saturday's show, which I guess was pretty much the same as Friday sans Billy Joel...I paid $59 to sit in the upper deck at the side of the stage (not even the cheapest seats!), and couldn't see the musicians including Paul when he was on the piano, nor could I see the screens to the left and the right of the stage. For whatever half-assed reason, they did not have either jumbotron on during the show. It was obscured seating that I paid full price for. I am in the process of requesting a FULL refund from Citi Field, and I am contacting Arnold Diaz, as a few hundred of us were soundly ripped off.
This is a real crime. They couldn't figure this out before selling the tickets??
Of all the times I've seen McCartney-this was by far the worst overall experience. What a farce.
To Citi Field and McCartney's staff- F minus on all accounts.

Oh man, that is very upsetting! This Board is a perfect place to vent because out in the "real" world many co-workers, friends and family either don't understand or don't care! There are actually those, like my non-Beatles friends, who can be happy at a concert even if the sound is horrible and the sight is terrible with the use of no big screens like at Bob Seger a few years ago. My friends were all bubbly to say that they could kind of make out "Turn The Page." Not me, I was livid because I paid the same ticket price as the guy on the floor. I saw Seger at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indy(an NBA stadium) and you cannot sit in the upper level for any concert or you are totally hosed: you are sitting higher than any speakers and the sight is terrible. Indy just built the beautiful Lucas Oil Stadium for the NFL Colts but boy was the city horrified to learn that it is terrible for concerts because the sound bounces back off the retractable roof. In the summer fine, open the darn roof. In an Indiana winter, open the roof and there will be a riot. If Paul ever comes back to Indy, he would play Conseco(which he has in 2002) or this Lucas Oil Stadium. It sounds like Citi Field is still working the bugs out but that doesn't help you, Mike. My sympathy and maybe there will be an informal class action-like movement to get some refunds. By the way, Mike, who is Arnold Diaz, the promoter?

Arnold Diaz is the local pain in the arse reporter for people who get ripped off. He is one of the best, even goes on national news shows.

I spoke to the Citi Field ticket office. They said I should have had an usher direct me to a relocation booth. Huh?? The one usher I complained to said to look for an empty seat. There were 6 of us! No problem!
They took my name and number and said they would pass the info to the show promoters.
Steve, we need an icon of a little yellow head holding its breath....

The Mets organization called me and apologized. They have no control over refunds but offered me 6 comp tickets to a game, which I'll probably take them up on.
They had relocation seats, but not every usher was aware. They said they will be better prepared for tonight so that it doesn't happen again.
They also had no say in the hook up of the jumbotron (or lack thereof).

Too bad. I was way up in the back straight behind first base, but I had a perfect view. Read my reactions on the post I started. (I had a great time and loved everything about the show)!

I was in the back row, which had a wonderful breeze, and a spectacular view of the Manhattan skyline. I probably would have been fine if the jumbotrons were working.
