I thought it was a mistake but I asked the cashier-it scanned at $12.99!
I was so giddy I bought Let it Be and Abbey Road too.
So far great sharp sounds but not sure I'm going to rush out to complete the collection.
Played various cuts on car stereo, Bose headphones-discman and my best stereo system.
Beatle Bob-I do understand now your described differences between needle drops and these.

I've seen the old White Album CD going for as high as $34.99 at many stores. $12.99 is an awesome price for the remaster.

i don't care for the sound of a Needle Drop myself....
especially when it started my cassette taping of a Beatles album,it sounded terrible on playback.... ;D

However, you must admit it added a certain ambiance to "Not the Beatles"...kind of added a retro feel to the whole affair.
