Stormy day and night here in Northern Illinois. This evening the lightning has been absolutely wicked. Chicago had winds of 95 MPH along with two inches of rain in about two hours. ComEd said around 200,000 people in and around Chicago are without electricity. Lots of flooded streets.
The Cubs game at Wrigley Field has been postponed twice this evening. The lightning was so intense they called all of people in the outfield bleachers out of their seats and under the stands. Tornado sirens were going off all over the city.
WGN just said the game has been called because of the intense weather. The lightning tonight was just unreal!

Maybe someone doesn't want the Cubs to win it all. I'd be careful if I were you

Maybe someone doesn't want the Cubs to win it all. I'd be careful if I were you LOL sayne!! I hope this is the Cubs year. They haven't been World Series Champs since 1908. They haven't been in the World Series since 1945. I'd like to at least see my favorite Major League Baseball team in the World Series one time before I join John Lennon, George Harrison and my English Springer Spaniel 'Sexy Sadie' (1984-1995) in the hereafter. At least my Chicago Bears have given me something to hang my hat on in my lifetime. World Champs, 1963 and again in 1985. Living ain't easy. ;D
