It is a shame that a NFL playoff game was determined by a dubious officiating crew. I understand your disappointment, and I'm sure, unlike last year, you will be rooting against the Chargers because of how the game went. I know how you feel. The Chargers had their full share of bad officiating this year. Poor officiating were a part of their 4 and 8 record. earlier on. But, as for this game, Darren Sproles' 328 yards, the clear defensive holding and face-masking penalties during the overtime, and the quite odd running play in the 4th quarter, I think, when the Colts called a RUNNING play on a 3rd and 20 and got a couple of yards helped contribute to the loss, too. I think the Sproles' fumble in the end zone, and the quick snap/defense asleep touchdown by the Colts helped balance things out. If Sprole had not fumbled and if the Chargers defense had paid attention that would have been 7 points the Chargers would have had and 7 points the Colts wouldn't have had. There might not have even been an overtime. I think the Colts have themselves to blame, too. I empathize with you. I've been on that end many times. What hurts the most is that the lead official last night is a dead-wringer for "Dirty" Dick Cheney! He probably slithered back to his undisclosed location.

It is a shame that a NFL playoff game was determined by a dubious officiating crew. However, Peyton was not playing like the supposed MVP he was named. Sorry JSD and ChuckE. And if you remember, Sayne, one of those badly-officiated games was the last time the Chargers played the Stillers, whereas we were stripped of a touchdown. Luckily we still won that game, but that was a jive call. There were many games all over the league this year where the officials made mistakes, cost wins and losses, etc. Don't these guys go to official officiating schools or something? I realize they have a tough job, but gosh already...some of those calls resulted in some very bad mistakes. You can't call do-over once the game has ended. Anyways, onward! SuperHans, hope you'll be watching! GO STILLERS!!!! JCV

Luckily we still won that game, but that was a jive call. Hey, we suck this year, so we need all the help we can get. Hopefully, "yunz" will do what the Colts did and feel sorry for us and play DOWN to the competition. That, plus bad calls going our way, just might help us stay in the game. That's all we have. We won't have the weather or the time zone working for us, either.

I'm tellin' yunz - our QB, Ben Roethlisberger has the touch of a bliddy magician!!! For the most part it was men against boys stuff! I came down this morning and the place was strewn with empty pilsner cans. Mrs. Superhans reckoned I had spent most of the second half standing on the coffee table, with a big smirk on my face, twirling one of her yellow t-shirts over my head. COME ON YOU SUPER STILLERS!!!!

"Every playoff tournament ends sadly for every team but one. Last Sunday, on a snowy day in Pittsburgh, the mighty Steelers ended the Chargers season." Now that's good reporting! Your team did very well this year, sayne. Hopefully for your sake they can keep the core together and expand upon the talent next year. JCV

Congratulations Super Stillers!!! Hope yunz were all watching!! Not a vintage performace from the all-conquering black-and-golds, but this guy was different class... Hope McGahee is OK, BTW. We won't get an update on that over here. Here's an update, SuperHans. It seems he will make a full recovery, which is good. It was a huge hit and we're all glad he will be okay. msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9103606/McGahee-out-of-hospital;-full-recovery-expectedWhat a game, though, huh SuperHans!?! Had me on the edge of my seat there for a little while, but that's what they like to do! So now we have a Pgh. West vs. Pgh. Super Stillers Super Bowl! ;D It will be interesting - can't wait! Hope yunz will all be watching! Cue the music -- "I've got a feeling, Pittsburgh's going to the Super Bowl"!! Woo-Hoo!!!! GO STILLERS!!!!JCV
