I think favorite to least favorite is a better description : ALL THINGS MUST PASS CLOUD NINE LIVING IN THE MATERIAL WORLD GEORGE HARRISON THIRTY THREE & 1/3 BRAINWASHED SOMEWHERE IN ENGLAND EXTRA TEXTURE DARK HORSE GONE TROPPOAs in the Ringo thread, if including Live albums, 'Concert For Bangladesh' and 'Live In Japan' would rate high, though 'Japan' maybe a little lower down the list because the audience wasn't miked loud enough to give it a 'live' feel.

Tier 1. CLOUD NINE ALL THINGS MUST PASS GEORGE HARRISON BRAINWASHED THIRTY THREE & 1/3 GONE TROPPO
After all these years, I'd have to say that from start to finish, Cloud 9 now ranks above "All Things Must Pass" for me. I think it's just that there is so much material on ATMP, that C9 is just a tighter album, with less filler, for me. For that reason, I almost moved "George Harrison" ahead of ATMP as well. Gone Troppo is my guilty pleasure album by George. I love "Dream Away" and "Mystical One".
Tier 2. LIVING IN THE MATERIAL WORLD EXTRA TEXTURE SOMEWHERE IN ENGLAND
Never been a big fan of LITMW as it still comes across as TOO preachy for my tastes. Actually, I might put Extra Texture in front of it on the stength of "You", "This Guitar" and "The Answers at the End".
Tier 3. DARK HORSE
George is my second favorite Beatle (and sometimes, I even feel like he is my favorite from a solo career standpoint), and this is his only album that I just have a hard time listening to at all anymore.

1. 331/3 2. Cloud 9 3. Brainwashed 4. Living In The Material World 5. All Things Must Pass 6. Dark Horse 7. George Harrison 8. Extra Texture 9. Somewhere In England 10. Gone Troppo
I always love the commercial feel of 331/3 and really enjoyed George's slide on the Woman Don't Cry For Me. I also thought the whole of side two was great sequencing and flowed very nicely. Cloud Nine was excellent too. Very Beatles. Nice production ala When We Was Fab. I like the Jeff Lynn touches. Same with Brainwashed. It felt like a last letter from George, like hearing from a old friend. Loved the guitar work on this album too. I've played this for guitar buddies and they agree that George was a mofo!

I'm slightly embare-assed to say I've heard only 3 'proper' George albums in full (plus the 80s' classic charity show, The Concert for The Bangles).
Those three, in order of my preference, are:
1. All Things Must Pass Gas -- Massive three-album set devoted to Krishna's gita on flatulence, something George had to deal with upon converting to vegetarianism. Producer Phil Spector gave his usual wall-of-smell production to hits like the international chart-topper "My Sweet Fart" and the tribute to Bob Dylan, "Behind That Locked Bathroom Door".
2. Living In The Maternity Ward -- playing all of the guitar parts himself (in an incubator), George delves deep into his immediate post-natal memories of his first week of life in a Liverpool hospital. Sales were helped by the US #1 single, "Give Me Nipple (Give Me Milk on Earth)".
3. Shroud 9 -- with a lot of help from Jeff Lynn, George rejects Hinduism to indulge his mystic fascination for Jewish burial traditions. Solid album, although a few years hence George did express some reservations over the slick sheen that Lynn (his preference being for polyester) gave to the project. 60s' memories evoked by the snappy "When we was Dead".

Thanks John. I haven't yet gotten around to listening to some of his other LPs like 23&1/3 cm (the concept album about his penis) or On Toppo, the related "guy-on-top" concept record. After that one, he pretty much retired from public appearances, except for that memorable live performance in London at the 'Princess's Bust' concert.

LIVING IN THE MATERIAL WORLD CLOUD NINE ALL THINGS MUST PASS BRAINWASHED GEORGE HARRISON THIRTY THREE & 1/3 GONE TROPPO DARK HORSE EXTRA TEXTURE SOMEWHERE IN ENGLAND
Years ago I would never have LITMW at my No. 1 but as remastered, I really appreciate it as a Hari masterpiece. ATMP is too long and unwieldy at three records(or two discs) but as a single disc without Spector it would have been easily the greatest solo Beatle album of all time.
George was so out of it on SOMEWHERE IN ENGLAND, just a wimpy sound throughout. I think that it is easily his worst with ET close behind. As I learned, Dark Horse has some sublime moments which keep it from being the worst. Gone Troppo is better than a first glance would suggest.

In all seriousness, I like ATMP just the way it is. Surely, yes, if we whittle it down to 14 tracks it'd be tighter pound-for-pound. But I like the massive, ginormous three-disc set with the rockin' jams. That is his best LP.
But I also love Living in the Material World. It doesn't get enough love.
