You would get an advance email with an access code that you type in the required space in order to be part of the pre-sale. If ordering by telephone you tell the Ticketmaster agent the code in order to participate in the pre-sale.

...so to ask a stupid question, are you going, Fred? How about you, Joe? I am going and I will yell, at the top of my lungs after every song, Don't Go Where The Road Don't Go! That is Ringo's greatest solo song, not even close! I will yell that until Ringo plays that song.

To Johnny: If Ringo doesn't, will you go on your own 'Dark Hoarse' tour?

I actually have somewhat of a dilemma here about WHERE to see Ringo this year. Consider: 1.) Westbury Music Fair June 30-- I like this little venue much better than I do Radio City, I think it's a better place to see a concert, and much more intimate. It also just so happens that I have a vacation coming, which will last me from June 28th through July 5th... so it would be nice to have the show take place during the week I'm off from work! Problem is, my wife and I are undecided as to whether we'll go away on a trip somewherefor that week. I'd like to try a cruise -- and if we do, I won't mind going to the Radio City show in July instead. HOWEVER -- If I wind up staying home that June week, I'll kick myself for not seeing Ringo at Westbury! 2.) Radio City July 7 -- For starters, it's Ringo's 70th birthday, and that alone will make this a historic night. I see that some of our Beatle Buddies here will be going to this show and that gives me an added incentive to meet them there, possibly, as well! It's more likely this show will be filmed, or that Paul McCartney may pop in to join Ringo for "WALK WITH YOU"! CON: I will have returned to work already after a long vacation, and it's a pain in the neck having to go to Manhattan after working on the Island, and also having to work the next day. Decisions, Decisions!!

"Fill in the Blanks" is better than "Don't Go Where the Road Don't Go." Oy, FILL IN THE BLANKS is not even close! I'm with JSD there -- but no way is DGWTRDG his "best solo song" (that'd be IT DON'T COME EASY).

LOL, I thought that you were saying, Steve, that any Ringo song was better than DGWTRDG and just "fill in the blank." I forgot that is the opening song to Ringo's new album! ;D Having gotten past that, you have got to be joking Steve! DGWTRDG is the best rock and roll song Ringo has ever done whether as a Beatle or solo! Give me a break!

I haven't received one either and I'm really hoping that maybe we won't need one for the presale, or that it will be sent out later tonight or very early in the morning before the presale begins, which will be at 9AM, EST.

I haven't received a access code for the Radio City pre-sale. Did anyone get it? According to a note I saw on Craigslist, it's HEPEACE. I haven't tested it.

If this show was Ringo with Ben Harper and the band Ringo performed with on television recently, I'd try to go to NYC in a heartbeat.
The wife and I have been lamenting the winter and our cabin-fever. We could use a trip to NYC and maybe meet at some point OldFred and JoeK.

Thanks for that. When I used the other code earlier in the day I could only pull up scattered seats and purchased them. When I tried your code, I was surprised to find seats were now available together. I called Ticketmaster and was able to get my order changed for seats together.

Glad I could help (as for NE2, I am he as he is me). My wife found that code after HEPEACE didn't work. I got seats halfway back, Row B...how'd you do? I got three seats up in the third mezzanine close to the center in Row B, which is not bad, we'll have a good view of the stage. I'll be going with my friend, the Lovely Linda, and JoeK will be going too. So, it should be a fun night, especially is there are "special guests". ;D And just for the heck of it, I checked out Ticketmaster when the public sale went up, and I saw the decent seats were also available. So, for those who couldn't get in on the pre-sale, I think they'll do all right. And may I suggest that everyone on this board who are going to the Radio City show that we all get there extra early, maybe have some dinner and have a AbbeyRd Message Board get together. I think that will be as much fun as the actually show.

With Ringo and Paul both on the road this year, I noticed that the last date so far for Paul's tour is June 28th. Ringo's 70th birthday at Radio City is on July 7th. So far, no conflicts of dates. Makes things look a little hopeful for a little surprise at Ringo's concert, don't you think? Keeping my fingers crossed

With Paul due in San Francisco on July 10 for his first US concert date this summer, what are the chances he will stop over in New York on July 7 to join Ringo onstage at Radio City to celebrate Ringo's 70th Birthday? Seems the perfect moment for the two Fabs to jam together finally; say a rocking version of The Beatles song "Birthday" or "We've Been Together Now for 48 Years" This time Paul's travel schedule seems to fit perfectly for a stopover in NYC.

If you are in the NYC area next 3 days; time to keep an eye out (or ear open) for any Macca sightings. Gotta see if there is a chance he'll pop in on Ringo this Wednesday evening. If anyone can, Old Fred should be able to "sniff" out if there is a Macca presence anywhere near Radio City in the next few days.
Hope springs eternal.......
Not too many more moments coming up where the two Fabs could still hook up for a little Beatlemania....

. . . Not too many more moments coming up where the two Fabs could still hook up for a little Beatlemania.... I broke down and bought tickets to the Greek Theater show in Los Angeles. Surprised that I was able to get good seats so long after the tickets went on sale. I expected to be way up in the nose-bleed bench area.

One hopeful sign: I checked Paul's tour schedule for this week and he has nothing planned till the weekend. Hmmmmm,....
