If anybody is interested in reading my chapter on John Lennon which was excerped from my new book, "Acid Heroes," they can find it on-line at www.cal-list.com (scroll down to "The Ace Backwords Report") The book is a fairly critical, if not outright scathing, look at the Beatles and their psychedelic drug use (among other things). So if you're an easily offended Beatles fan you might want to steer clear.

.....So if you're an easily offended Beatles fan you might want to steer clear. I wouldn't say I am an easily offended Beatles fan although I am very loving and sensitive towards the ex-Fabs and their families. I will take a look, acebackwords, but if my feelings get hurt I may just "X" out of the link.

An article in today's domestic version of USA Today newspaper about John's upcoming 70th birthday celebrations and new CD releases, declares John was the "soul" of The Beatles. And George was the "religion" of The Beatles. Where does that leave Paul? He played bass in The Beatles....... Paul did just get named a recipient of this year's Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, DC which take place in December. I wonder who will give his induction speech? RTP? ??
