The new episode of the Fab Fourum is great. Barry Wom introduces it and then a great second part of the discussion from last time about the Rutles. I think to appreciate it though I will have to listen to it on Thursday as that is the anniversary it is meant to be heard on. Cheese and Onions everyone?

In this second part of the Fab Fourum's look at the best Beatle parodies, the guys pay tribute to the funniest spoof ever done on the greatest band of all time. What did the Beatle world get when Monty Python, Neil Innes, George Harrison and Saturday Night Live joined forces? Why, of course, it was Dirk, Nasty, Stig and Barry ... The Rutles!

That's not Barry Wom. That's Ringo. Must have been the trousers. By the way, the podcast mentions Ollie Halsall had died. I don't recall hearing that.

The programme is about the Rutles and also, in the UK, Thursday is known as April Fool's day.

Do our cousins in North America enjoy April Fool spoofs as much as we do here in the UK?

The Fab Fourum take a serious...OK, maybe not too serious...look at some of the best parodies of the Fab Four that have appeared on record, on TV, and in print. This episode may just lead you to discover some great humor that w...as derived from the Beatles music...and history...that you may not have seen or heard before!
This is Part 1. We put Part 2 up first last week in honor of April Fool's Day!
Enjoy.
