Looking at the recent photos of Sean and Paul with their girlfriends made me think that Beatle (and male progeny) photos, more often than not show the male being followed by the female. I know it is not verifiable or perhaps not even true, but my impression and memory suggests that it happens quite a lot.

I know it is not verifiable or perhaps not even true, but my impression and memory suggests that it happens quite a lot. I think it is more of a Japan thing then a Chinese tradition. Although, the Muslims seem to also have this tradition. To insert the Beatles or Beatle offspring in any shape, manner or form would tend to be ridiculous. Remember, these are the Liverpool Liberal lads. Of course, with one exception as you have alluded to, maybe not Paul. It would come as no surprise to me if he followed this Japanese tradition. God forbid if Yoko ever finds out.

My vote would go to Saudi Arabia. Women aren't even allowed to drive there.
I don't ever remember Linda traipsing along behind Paul, like she wasn't good enough to be having a conversation with him. To the best of my recollection, they were usually arm-in-arm, very much a couple. Even he and Heather walked that way, although he once said it was to support her because of her prosthesis.
I've commented elsewhere that I find Nancy's ten-paces-behind, silently-stare-at-the-sidewalk behavior bizarre. Paul's treatment of her is downright disrespectful. Doesn't she have any self-esteem? They sure don't look like a happy, "together" couple.
Measure her for a burkha. Not an unusual sight in London, but the Hamptons crowd will be gobsmacked. Unless it's a $10,000 designer burkha, that is.

I'll get sued (or killed) for writing that with the sarcasm and utter loathing I fully intended. Where are rock concerts normally held in Israel? I suspect that security is well coordinated.
