I hope this goes through to where I'm aiming it. Just read about 50 posts around this board. What a great group of people.
I'm Greg from Michigan. Hello.
A question if it's not too specific: Does anyone know what George is playing after the F#m parts of Ticket to Ride? It looks like some variants of something. Or is he just playing straight chords?

Welcome, Greg! As for the chords, I'm afraid I don't know much in that department. But I'm sure one of the other posters will know!

Welcome to the board, Greg! I'm afraid I can't help you with the chords either. I love music but I'm not a musician.

It's between the Giants in the NL (I know, tough year) and the Red Sox in the AL. Hate football, basketball, hockey. Like bowling (seriously). I bowl myself. Getting ready to get back into it for the fall. I usually average around 180, which isn't great, but it won me some money in June...

Wow. My first opinion on this board has proven to be s rather accurate one: "What a great group of people." Thanks so much, and thanks for that link. Greg (Diehard fan of Ram)

It's funny what little quirks we can sometimes have in Beatle-world. I hate Glass Onion but love Mr. Moonlight. Go figure.
I actually may have gotten a rejected email meant to go to you. I replied to the email telling me that my membership was approved, but the email came back. I just typed that I really appreciate you taking the time time set me up with an account here. I'm guessing it was you that has to do all that, so thanks. Greg

John was a softy for these kind of "moon in june" songs as he proved years later when covering "Angel Baby." MM also was a great vocal showcase for a man[Lennon] with a great voice who didn't believe that his voice was great.

After the F#m in "Ticket to Ride" ("SHE'S got a ticket to RI-ide...") I usually play a D7... but that's probably wrong, as I've never checked it against any tablature. I'd check the link Steve provided, which has a much higher chance of being correct. I'm strictly an amateur. NP: Cheap Trick, "I Want You To Want Me," Classic Rock Gold

Hello!!
Name is Alltouttt (don't ask!)
I'm a francophone from Québec (Canada)
Old enough to have seen The Beatles live at the Montréal Forum in september of 1964 as a bewildered 11 years/old (now you know how old I really am...)
It was, without a doubt, the shortest and worst concert I've seen in my life (and I've seen quite a *few* during my career)
After seeing Sir Paul's concert in Québec city a month ago I can now say that I've seen the four members of the band live.
John Lennon I saw in his PJ's as he lied in bed with Yoko at the Queen Elizabeth hotel in Montréal back in 1969. (I just wished I had the nerves back then to step in the room and say hello but my english was not that good then and I was pretty overwhelmed to see him in person)
Can't promised I'll be able to become a regular here but it's always nice to read about The Beatles and the people who loves the band...
Oh! One more thing ... Mr. Moonlight is indeed a terrible song!Ü!

Welcome Alltouttt! You have a rich and unique Beatles' connection! You'll have to give us more detail on being in the Montreal hotel where John and Yoko were and Paul's recent Quebec concert: were you standing on your feet for nearly 24 hours?
You join the venerable ranks of "Firstie"(First Generation Beatles' Fan) shared by several here. Most of us became fans after that by reason of our birth.
Again, welcome!
