What's it like where you are? It's in the 80's here in Los Angeles. Watching the Charger game where the weather's the same. Sometimes it's good to be in La La land.

Tonight(early 12/13) it is 20 Degrees, blowing and snowing. Winter is here in Indiana. I need to start my snowblower so I am ready.

I got the snowblower fired up after just several shoulder crunching pulls! Went out and did by our detached garage, in front of the house and around the fronts of the neighbors(the super cool Hispanic family across the street and the drunken, "Mrs. Robinson-type" lady to our immediate North who, I am pretty sure, seduced my then 22 year old stepson in possibly our bed 4th of July 2009 when my wife and I were in New Orleans!). I am soaking wet and cold but I have that manly glow of having accomplished something worthy. Still 85 degrees in S. CA, sayne? Screw you!

Still 85 degrees in S. CA, sayne? Screw you! Today, Tuesday, is a very cold 72. I'm not kidding. Haven't even taken off my jacket. Brrrr, especially in the shade. Must be around 68 there.

You love to torture me! It was 6 Degrees above 0 when I went out to start my car at 7:50 a.m today. Even though I have the newer car, my wife gets use of the one-car garage we have. Chivalry is not dead!

It's bitterly cold here in NY and I don't like the cold, but I'd still rather have 4 seasons. Helps me appreciate the Spring and Summer more!

I actually like the cold weather when there is a cold, fresh snow. It is fun to walk in with my dog although my beloved Rottie, who passed away this past October, loved the snow much more than my surviving little Terrier. Emma doesn't like the cold at all! I guess my snow walking days are done.

Women wear white sandals in summer, red in fall, black in winter, and green in spring.

It's snowing in my neighborhood! On New Year's Eve, it got to 60 degrees here which may be a record high and I was out grilling....something......on my grill in just a sweatshirt. It is back to seasonal 20's/30's.

Okay, who is getting nailed by the major Winter storm hitting large parts of the U.S.? We sure are, six inched of snow last night and now we are getting hit hard and furious.

I just saw on the TV here about the superstorm brewing in North America, Sayne. The world's weather seems to be going crazy. In northern Queensland they are bracing for what looks to be the largest cyclone (hurricane) ever to hit there. It's a category 5. This is the same state that recently experienced extreme flooding (half a million square miles under water), though that was more to the south of the state.

What makes our storm dangerous is the 50 plus mph winds and the sleet mixed with snow. Give me 56 inches of snow over a bad ice storm! Ice causes trees to snap like twigs and makes power lines fall down and we go without electricity. It is amazing out there, we're up to almost a foot of snow and the winds are howling like John Lennon's guitar on "I Found Out."

Uh, oh, sounds like a pissing contest is coming up! ;D LOL, I thought of that too even though our friend lowbasso was making the very valid point that they have got nailed and six inches in NW Indiana sounds lame. Actually, I was more worried of the "That's what she said" type of joke when I said that we were getting six inches!
