Thanks for the info. I actually though your post would be about the song Rain. I just listened to it today and thought how amazing a Track that good would only be a B-Side (of course it ended up on the Hey Jude LP years later and was a highlight..It was passed over on the 1962-1966 Set though..a real shame). It would have been right at home on Revolver!!

I remember buying the single 'Paperback Writer/Rain' back in 1966. I still have the 45 but I can't find the cover. It's quite vexing you know.

Had never seen this band before. Caught their act last night and was blown away at how close they actually sounded like the Beatles. May even try to see them live when the get to town. Thanks for the heads-up on that show last night.

Thanks for the heads-up on that show last night. You're welcome, ChokingSmoker. I watched the show last night as well (I had the Cubs/Cardinals game on PIP and was very impressed. The guy that played 'John' sounded a lot like John Lennon. The guy that played 'Ringo' had his mannerisms down to a tee. Same for the guy that played 'George.' Sounded like George too. The guy that played 'Paul' sounded a lot like McCartney. He's really got the voice to carry it off. The only catch being he's right handed. As any Beatle fan worth his/her salt knows, McCartney's a lefty (like me). But this is a minor point. I especially enjoyed watching the audience, seeing the youngsters get up off their seats and shake their ass to 'Twist And Shout.' The older folks (people my age...Oh God!) were rockin' too. Overall, I thought is was a great show! I'd love to see these guys live. They're coming to Chicago on March 3, 2009, at the Auditorium Theater. Anyone else up to see Rain? It would be fun to get a bunch of us together to see the show.

Beatles tribute band The Return is playing my hometown Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. It is at an art festival here. This is big doings for Logansport. I must say that the last time we had a Beatles' tribute band here was 1964 The Tribute which was on Sunday, September 9, 2001.

Paul would trade places right now to get that voice this guy has. This guy was pure magic. The others were great as well, but he took the trophy home. And coming from a John fan, that is saying a lot.

I saw it on PBS and they are fantastic--especially the person playing Paul. Great vocals. Its the first time an impersonator came so close to the real thing. I think Paul's current voice is not quite to to this level all the time. But there are times when it is. Check out Let It Be at the Shea Stadium final concert.

Look RTP, I already said in so many words on my previous post that the man was brilliant. Quit stealing my thunder. Just kidding man. I knew you, who of all people on this board that would happen to catch that show, would get his two cents worth on that Paul imitation. It was great.
