Thanks for posting that, Fred! Too bad the sound is not that great, but hey, beggars can't be choosers! I liked him playing "Lady Marmalade"! ;D

That was the worst haircut he ever had. I agree! In John Lennon: The Life by Philip Norman, Norman says that per Yoko, in 1975 John noticed the popularity of David Bowie, the Glam Scene and how many rockers like Mick Jagger were flaunting androgynous images and John felt left out with the increasingly vocal Gay community, worried that he was perceived as a boring old dinosaur. It is written by Norman that is why John wears the scarves, the caps, the stylish clothes and has his hair pulled back around this time. He wanted to fit in with the ever changing Rock scene. With the birth of Sean he abandoned such concerns. I personally think the worst look John ever had(and it is this same period) is his last live appearance at the tribute to Sir Lew Grade where John's hair is really combed back and he is wearing that ugly jumpsuit! Thank goodness he never went as far as Bowie with colored hair and major make-up! ;D Now as to Macca.....

On the subject of Johns worst look, nothing comes close to his appearance with Paul Simon at the Grammys for me:
He looks almost medieval with that hat.
The problem with critiques like this though, is it really the persons fault? It was the 70's afterall? ;D

Thanks for linking that interview. Can anyone date it, specifically? I'm guessing spring 1975-ish?
