Carlos Zambrano throws a NO HITTER! Cubs beat the Astros 5-0! WOW!! Due to the hurricane and not knowing where or when the game was going to be played (Milwaukee), the game wasn't televised. At least not in my area. Oh well...congrrats to Big Z!

I thought that Burt Hooten's was after that but probably not. Ken Holtzman threw one or two for the Cubs too.

I never believed in the 'curse' anyway. Still, you've gotta wonder how a team could go 100 years without winning the World Series. You'd think they'd trip over a couple of championships in all that time just by accident, by fielding a team every year. The law of averages. Strange.

I loved it when Jose Reyes of the Mets drove Zambrano crazy during one of the last games they played.. going down the third base line... it drove Zambrano nuts! Oh well... now both teams have to wait til next year anyway.
