I actually saw Danny Bonaduce perform at Atlantic City (at the Steel Pier!) back in the mid-1970's (just after the show went off the air). He did "Keep On Singing" ( the Helen Reddy number) and "Bad Bad Leroy Brown". Not bad, as I recall, but my memory may be faulty. I later met him on the boardwalk and shook his hand. I was stoked! "I met a TV star!" Of course, a lot of water has gone under the bridge since then... ...my wife said I shouldn't broadcast the fact, but what the heck! ;D I suspect Danny will tell some jokes and maybe duet with David on a few Partridge tunes...

My first trip to AC was in 1973. I distincly remember the sign at Steel Pier "Danny Bonaduce" to perform. I couldn't go, but wanted to.

Thanks Mike for that info. I tend to worry though because David is a gifted singer and musician with tons of talent and Danny, is well, Danny.
I would hate for David Cassidy's massive talent to be cheapened by Danny's profane and vulger act.

Not that I thought you'd jump on a plane to AC, just thought you would get a kick out of it.
Yes, Danny is Danny. He was Charlie Sheen before there was a Charlie Sheen.

Don't get me wrong, I could roadtrip and to see David live is one of my lifetime goals. I would openly weep during "I'll Meet You Halfway" as long as David performs it as originally arranged and not that techno, dance vibe he gives some of the PF classics.

After taking her to The Avett Brothers' concert(they are my new Beatles) and she was such a downer at potentially the greatest night of my life, I would never dream of taking her to a David Cassidy concert. She tends to get mad when I squeal like an eleven year old girl and yell man-crush declarations to my heroes(like David and Tony Hicks). The AC/DC wordplay was funny so I forgive you!

The Mrs. does want to see LOVE believe it or not! People on my wife's list of concerts she refuses to go with me to include: 1. Brian Wilson: Geez, she saw a great concert on the debut tour of SMiLE and was unimpressed and will never see him again. 2. David Cassidy: She thinks I am a wussy for going ga-ga for David. 3. Avett Brothers: I wish I would have known before I took her as I would have asked Pattie Boyd instead or a hot Notre Dame coed by the offer of unlimited alcohol as the concert was in South Bend. Ringo Starr was on her list but she swooned for him last July with his tight black jeans, shortly cropped gray hair and designer glasses. Now Ringo can do no wrong with her in concert(I still can only play his greatest hits album in the car with her as she, and 99.9% of the world, don't want to know about his post-70's hits). Thanks scousette for the link. I think the Vegas trip sounds cooler than Atlantic City(sorry MikeV although if you're close to that city I'll P.M. you if there!). I on the other hand indulge her concert whims and have seen Rush, nearly front row seats to AC/DC, TESLA, and this summer some countery group called Sugarland. The Mrs. goes to see STYX tonight in South Bend with her sister and other girlfriends. LOL, somehow I dodged that bullet! BLUE OYSTER CULT and Mark Farner are also on the bill. I wouldn't mind the concert if all original band members were still in these bands. I like the older Dennis DeYoung songs prior to the Kilroy Was Here album. Hmmm, what does JSD do when the Mrs. is gone for the night? I would love to recreate the John and Yoko scene where the wife comes home the next day and Pattie Boyd and I are at our kitchen table sipping coffee(Pattie can sip tea) and Pattie is in the wife's robe(which due to my wife's relative shortness compared to Pattie) would reveal those long magnificient legs of hers. Nah, I'll probably walk the dog and play my stereo loud all by myself.

JCV and ChuckE have met my wife and they think she is nice and that I am the bizarre one! ;D You would have to show us the city scousette because I haven't been there since 1970(when I was seven) and somehow I suspect that the place has changed!

I'll be your tour guide. The Strip is gaudy and ridiculous but a real hoot. Downtown is shabby and old. Pawn Stars on The History Channel is filmed there.
There's a Las Vegas Gangster tour that I want to go on. I missed it last time.

Most awesome! I think that I'd rather see David and Danny reunited than Paul and Ringo especially if Danny was really playing bass on "Doesn't Somebody Want To Be Wanted." Extremely rare!

I openly wept during these videos, thanks OldFred.
Now I can imagine what a John and Paul reunion might have been like: magic like David and Danny.
