I've now viewed this 4 times-somewhat perplexed-somewhat like watching a car wreck.
I kind of like it in a Osmonds do Osborne sort of way. How bizarre how bizarre.

The Osmond on guitar singing has a great set of pipes! Is he the guy who sang "Down By The Lazy River" which I think is pretty good. I was not keen on the drummer's voice.

I thought it was Donny, but he was plucking down some keyboards.
The drummer Osmond resembled Ringo more than Don Henley on vocal range of a drummer.

In the mid 70s my friend and I made a cartoon film to go with this song at school in our lunch hours. It was a photography project and we had set a camera up above a board to take the frames of the film. It took us all term. When the teacher took our film and developed it, he ruined it and we could only see about 3 seconds of what we made. See, I'm still traumatised by this after 35 years!
We saw the Osmonds play this at Manchester Belle Vue. It was a seriously wild concert.

Somehow Osmond and "wild" don't seem to go tegether in the same sentence.
Maybe Osmond and "cocoa puffs".

Somehow Osmond and "wild" don't seem to go tegether in the same sentence. Maybe Osmond and "cocoa puffs". I just saw this and wanted to say that wild wasn't the half of it. Imitation Beatlemania was the nearest to it. We were on about 10 rows back at the side of the stage and spent the whole show standing on the backs of our seats (along with everyone else). They had to stop the show several times and were carrying out a stream of semi conscious girls from the front. It was totally crazy and good fun, even though I'd never really been a fan. Towards the end of the show our row of seats collapsed and by the time it had finished the place was totally trashed. One manic night! Every 15 year old should experience that sort of thing at least once.
