Here's another clip by a comedian, Red Skelton, which also puts the Pledge of Allegiance into perspective. After watching the cartoon OldFred put up, I thought of this as well.

Here's another clip by a comedian, Red Skelton, which also puts the Pledge of Allegiance into perspective. After watching the cartoon OldFred put up, I thought of this as well. Thank you Winston, I truly and gratefully appreciate that. I've been watching that video too and it's extremely moving. I met Red Skelton when he did a comedy concert at Carnegie Hall back in the 1970's and I have an autographed program from him which I treasure. He was a very nice and gracious person and meeting him was a thrill. Many blessings to you, Sir.
