Yes. I find Football to be one of the most excruciatingly boring things in Life.

Indianapolis is hosting the 2012 Super Bowl. That city is getting very nervous. Millions have been spent improving infrastructure and new hotels are being built for the event. I hope this gets resolved asap. I can't even discuss the merits of the season as they are so far behind, not fatally, but enough where we don't know how things are shaping up team by team because there are no teams right now! The Avett Brothers are coming to Indy October 1 but that will hardly help. TAB fans tend to sleep in tents or the beds of their pick-up trucks! I'll be at the concert without my wife but that is another story for another Thread. This country needs the NFL season to start on time. I bet a strike will impact the U.S. Presidential election in late 2012 and I am not kidding. If it settles soon it will have no impact but no season and the Prez may be sweating even though it is not his fault. People blame the Man in charge for everything. sayne, I don't want to think of a Fall without NFL football! The NBA, that's okay. I don't follow that anymore. Larry Bird has ruined the Pacers.

I didn't panic after the Colts got blown out by the Texans, the Texans are a decent to good team.
I am panicked now after we lost to the Browns at home. We are suffering the curse of hosting this year's Super Bowl, that and our franchise player, Peyton Manning, is out with neck surgery.

Woolie's Liverpool blog.....Sunday 18th September: Tottenham 4 -- Liverpool 0 It's amazing how quickly frothy, exuberant, cocky, boasting early season optimism gives way to gritty, grim-faced reality. It's like being bludgeoned out of a beautiful dream. We were terrible from first kick to last. Very, very occasionally the team just never gets off the bus, and this was one of those days. Things have got to get better and quick....we've got Everton and Man United coming up in the next month and I'm already having nightmares and what I think are clinical palpitations!

Congrats to JCV's Steelers who had a hard-fought win over The Colts last night on Sunday Night Football.
Irsay(the Colts owner) said this morning that star Quarterback Peyton Manning is out for the season. There's a hard rain gonna fall.

Only that I'm just as disinterested in it as I've been for the past 48 years, and I hate it - and Winter. Come on, Summer and Baseball! ;D

Which team will win? Two great teams, very hard to pick.
