Steve started a new area for the games, and I put up a Paul McCartney tournament covering his last 18 years.
Enjoy!

You are the man, Joey! Thanks, as a tourney is just what this new Board needs.
A Paul tourney always reminds me(as if I needed it) how many good songs he has released.

A couple of days remain on the first round. There have varying numbers of voters in each group; 2 have 9, one had 10 and there are 11 in another.
For those new to the concept of the tournament, please check it out and PM me with any questions.

The good songs will carry through i suspect.... There will be an 80's tournament and one for the "sweet spot" for McCartney's 70's work--if we have enough interest to justify the effort. JcS

JcS Yes, so please play folks so Joey might be encouraged to continue this tourney. The way he has set this up forces one to examine Paul's career closely, by decade, as otherwise it becomes overwhelming as Paul's solo output has been massive. It sometimes requires one to pull out those rare B-sides to listen to and make some surprising discoveries. We know most Macca fans prefer his 1970's solo material and that stuff always "wins" in these fun little tournaments so that is another reason to divide it up by decade. These compel the player to revisit the music and that is not a bad chore!

After a misfire in how I set up the poll options, round 2 has restarted.
