I'll start on round 3. The first match pits two album sides that won in round 2 with shut outs. RUBBER SOUL (Side 1) downed BEATLES VI (Side 1) by a 9-0 total while YESTERDAY AND TODAY (Side 1) took down MEET THE BEATLES (Side 2) by a 8-0 margin.
RUBBER SOUL (SIDE 1) 1. I've Just Seen A Face 2. Norwegian Wood 3. You Won't See Me 4. Think For Yourself 5. The Word 6. Michelle
YESTERDAY AND TODAY (SIDE 1) 1. Drive My Car 2. I'm Only Sleeping 3. Nowhere Man 4. Dr. Robert 5. Yesterday 6. Act Naturally

RUBBER SOUL (SIDE 1)
These are getting tough but the "folk" U.S. RS-1 wins over the bizarrely eclectic Y&T-1 with me today(but maybe not yesterday and....tomorrow never knows!).

This is a tough and interesting vote. Both albums lead off with tracks that lead off a version of RUBBER SOUL! Two very good tracks and I like them both fairly equally. Next two great Lennon tunes. "Norwegian Wood" is slightly greater. Y&T moves even as Nowhere Man rates excellent while You Won't See Me is simply good. Y&T moves ahead with the good Dr. Robert edging the average Think For Yourself. Y&T adds to the lead as the classic Yesterday beats the very good The Word. However RS catches up as the good Michelle dominates over the below average Act Naturally. I am going to vote for RS 1 as it seems more like a real album while Y&T plays more like a collection of songs. RUBBER SOUL (Side 1) leads 5-1.

Its RS 1 for me. By a nose, not Ringo's--smaller.

I'll join the crowd at RS 1; "Dr. Robert" and "Act Naturally" are both OK, but nothing more. The flow of Y&T 1 seems to be weaker, although I've not listened to it in several years.
