Something New and Hollywood Bowl both gone. Hollywood Bowl surprises me - I thought there were a number of sleeves still left which are far worse. However, here is what's left.
Please Please Me With The Beatles (and Meet The Beatles US) A Hard Day’s Night (UK) A Hard Day’s Night (US) Beatles For Sale Beatles 65 Help! The Early Beatles Rubber Soul Revolver Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band Magical Mystery Tour The Beatles Yellow Submarine Abbey Road Hey Jude (The Beatles Again) Let It Be From Then To You (US) 1962-66 1967-70 Live At The BBC Anthology 1 Anthology 2 Anthology 3 Yellow Submarine Songtrack Love

Capitol HELP!
I don't like they typeface for the album title. It's boring. I don't like artwork much at all on this.

LOVE.
It may fit with the Cirque theme, but it's not much to look at.

HELP! both U.K. and U.S. if vectis is treating them as one but if not the U.K. HELP!.
I hear what scousette is saying about the U.S. HELP! but it looks like a typical soundtrack album of the times. The U.K. HELP! cover had input from The Beatles themselves and other than the spelling out of the name, it is very bland. HELP! the movie is full of color and fun: the album cover is rather drab and not colorful.

That's 4 individual titles voted for (5 including me, if no-one doubles up with a subsequent vote. Hint hint).

Beatles '65. Performing seals caught in various banal poses with...umbrellas. Rubbish concept, terrible layout, hideous design, awful Beatles logo and lettering. I'm trying to think of something good to say..... .....errmmmm.... . No, nothing. It sucks. Put this limping, dreary artefact out of its misery and boot it off.

I get the feeling that vectis, as this tourney's creator and administrator, is about to invoke the War Powers Act secretly given to those who take the time and effort to host tourneys for our collective pleasures. ;D

We currently have one vote each for Love, Beatles 65, UK Help! and US Help! I think Scousette appears to be trying to vote for both helps but due to ambiguity I cannot accept her vote in its current form. So she may wish to revise her vote...

Hi All!
I just "stumbled upon" this site yesterday!
Assuming that we are voting for WORST record sleeve, then:
Beatles 65
gets my vote for the resons mentioned earlier.
Hideous is too kind a word!!!! ;D

But if as JSD suggests, and because of the way the photos are arrayed, UK and US HELP! are to be considered as one package, I will vote for the 2-item package. Muddy enough?

1967-1970.
The shot is off and the four Beatles don't fill the composition as well, and their heads disappear in the shadow area overhead. If you have to count 1962-1966, then do so, 'cause i don't like the fact that both compositions took in account that type would fill those dead areas.

Live At The BBCAfter this, I believe it's going to be much harder to choose. JCV I think BBC is one of the best covers: great photo of the guys looking oh so cool and with a neat backdrop. But different strokes for different folks and people from the "Burgh are different!
