I've repaired the puncture and Round 17 has made it across the finish line. Two titles go, with 4 votes each - Please Please Me and A Hard Day's Night. Here is what's left.
With The Beatles (and Meet The Beatles US) Beatles For Sale Rubber Soul Revolver Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band Abbey Road 1967-70

I'm voting for Abbey Road. Iconic it may be, evocative of a hot August afternoon in 1969 it may be, showing a pedestrian crossing many of us will have walked across it undoubtedly does, but it's still stunningly unimaginative. Pedestrian indeed.

Of what's left, I vote to oust BEATLES FOR SALE. Why? Because I think the other covers are all more interesting.

Beatles For Sale
George's hair looks like a Hershey's Chocolate Kiss and it makes me hungry.

BEATLES FOR SALE
They look like they want to tell us to sod off. Except Paul still can't quite bring himself to eke that expression out of his mug, and wants to be liked even just a little bit.

BEATLES FOR SALE
It was a good image of the overworked Fabs. Just not quite as "Great" or "Classic" as the others that are left. Plus we didn't get this cover over in the US so it had less of an overall impact.

Beatles For Sale, be gone. Reason being: there is an out of focus orange thing in front of Ringo and Paul. Likewise there is an out of focus green thing in front of George.

Beatles 67-70. As a photo it's as good as any of them. I'm just not particularly fussed about the blue border and the cheesy writing at the top. If you're not going to use the classic Beatles logo with the long 'T', then come up with something really good. The lettering always looked pretty terrible. It now looks dated and terrible -- and evidence of how bad it is, I've never seen it used anywhere else.
