Think for YourselfMy least fav, can't recall this track on the YS-film.... A song from the RS - album, we are getting desperate?

I'm voting for THINK FOR YOURSELF also. Now, I've always loved this song and think it's got some very distinctive style due to the wonderful fuzz bass...
... but if I think of the movie YS and what songs here benefit the film or not, this one needs to go.

I would have kept "Only A Northern Song" in longer. It's barley in the film Rocko. I believe it's the scene where they are trying to break the glass ball and let Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band out. It's not even the actual recording you hear, but probably the voice-over actors just singing the, 'you've got time to rectify...." line.

I agree.
I voted off "Think For Yourself" this time. Purely as a song I'd have gone for "Yellow Submarine", but since we are voting on songs from the YS songtrack, it stays longer.

I was wrong. It's right before that where they use the singing to revive the Lord Mayor. Is that really the Beatles voices - anyone know?
Here's the clip. It's at about 1:10 where they sing:

Think For Yourself, an ok song by George but not one of his best.

When I'm Sixty-Four
who'd have thought that a song Macca wrote very early in his musical career, a song that wasn't used on any of the early albums was suddenly deemed good enough to include on the great, groundbreaking, Sgt Pepper album......
should have been the B Side for Penny Lane or Strawberry Fields forever..

When I'm 64 should have been the B Side for Penny Lane or Strawberry Fields forever.. Agree. The song was already in the can when PL/SFF were selected as the next single. One of those big guns could then have been 'held back' for Pepper. I suppose a 'Liverpool-themed' single was too much of a temptation (albeit an unecessary, gimmicky one) to resist.

Think for yourself.
Others have said why.
B'bye.

I agree Snook, in regards ro *Only A Northern Song* it should have stayed longer, I like it, esp the anthology 2 version.... Thx for telling me where TFYS was in the YS film, yeah was only a small segment, and you can easily miss it.......
