Yep, Macca is now out of this Survivor, his classic *Eleanor Rigby* has been voted off....John's song are the only one's remaining.......... ::)

Written with the film very much in mind, McCartney's singalong ditty became a children's favourite, completed in just over five hours of studio work. It's hard to imagine a song this slight being considered for any of the other Beatles albums.

Great message more appropriate(and needed)today than in 1967, neat lead vocal by John with cool, friendly vocal inter-play between John and Paul, clever Lord Of The Rings-like riddled lyrics and a cool, blistering lead guitar solo from George.

I know, I know, we must vote for one but has LOVE died on this Board!? And at Valentine's for the love of all that is good? :'(

It's strange when you get ot this stage of a survivor contest. You're voting off great songs and the process starts to feel a bit arbitrary and pointless. I didn't even try and justify my decision. A quick acronym and the job is done. My long game is to get 'Bulldog' elevated into the winner's slot. 8-)
