Whoa, *Yellow Submarine* the actual title for the soundtrack album to the film, is the next song to be voted off, *When I'm 64* again coming in second place......... (I’m surprised, I thought YS, was going to at least make it into the final 3?) Oh well, who will be the next to go in Round 8........ Select Your Least FavouriteHey Bulldog Eleanor Rigby Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds Baby, You're a Rich Man All You Need Is Love When I'm Sixty-Four Nowhere ManVideo Clip Of The Day
LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS (LSD) - THE BEATLES
From the YS - Film
June 1, 1967
The minor furore over the meaning of 'Friends' had nothing on the frenzied response to this piece of whimsy from the pen of John Lennon. "I was consciously writing poetry," he admitted, shifting blame for the line about "newspaper taxis" to his nominal co-writer. But the Alice In Wonderland style imagery, supposedly inspired by a drawing John's son Julian had brought home from nursery school, was widely believed to be a description of an acid trip. As soon as someone noticed the initials of the song's title (LSD), that seemed to clinch the story - except that Lennon continued to deny it until his dying day. Having owned up to so much else down the years, there was no reason for him to lie - especially over a song which he always felt was "so badly recorded".

ELEANOR RIGBY again. So Rocko, who are the women in those pictures at the bottom of your post? The top one looks like Jane Asher, and in the middle it looks like (from left) Maureen, Ringo, (Prudence?) and Jane Asher, but who is the one at bottom?

Out of what's left, 'Hey bulldog' is streets ahead of the rest. The others are all good, solid Beatles favourites, with varying degrees of connection to the film, drafted in to bulk out the songtrack. They all sort of morph into one, making it difficult to choose.
I'll go with When I'm sixty-four on the basis of JSD's 'granny' argument, although really there's only one ultimate winner here.

I don't know that the whole vote revovles around what was in the film and what wasn't but i cant believe people think Hey Bulldust is the best of the rest... the rest being..... Hey Bulldog Eleanor Rigby Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds Baby, You're a Rich Man All You Need Is Love When I'm Sixty-Four Nowhere Man Hey Bulldog is definitely filler compared to that lot with 64 being the exception.....

Winston both top and bottom photos is Pattie's sister *Jenny Boyd*, the middle photo I could recognise Ringo only, the rest no sure?
