REVOLVER side 2 wins comfortably in my mind. "Tomorrow Never Knows" and "For No One" are elite Beatles tracks which I always include in my personal Top 10. "A Hard Days Night" sits just outside that list, but so does "And Your Bird Can Sing". The other tracks balance off fairly evenly-all good stuff on both discs-probably still a slight edge to REVOLVER. But overall it really is no contest in my opinion because of the huge edge the best songs on REVOLVER have.

Pretty easy. I like both choices, but "Revolver" is just stunning. "And Your Bird Can Sing," "Got to Get You Into My Life," "Tomorrow Never Knows" -- all simply outstanding.

REVOLVER, Side 2
AHDN-1 is great but it is all kid's stuff. The kiddies grow up and live their adult lives to Revolver-2(and R-1).

A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, Side 1
I think If I Fell is the best song out of these 2 sides so i've rooted for AHDN side 1

This was hard, both sides are great and I like them alot. Early Beatles vs Peak Beatles.
I went for Peak Beatles, so REV S-2 it is, yes it is it's true.

A Hard Day's Night is a seminal album in the history of rock music. Written, arranged and performed under the pressure of Beatlemania. It is always a great album to listen to. It's full of energy and drive. A classic rock album - and it is Side 1 that is the greater.
Revolver is more than a seminal album of rock music in general. It is THE special album of the Beatles. A united group constructs its creative masterpiece: no less than that. Side 1 or side 2, it doesn't matter.
My vote is clear, and given with conviction.

Even though I LOVE "For No One," I can't deny the power of AHDN 1 from start to finish. It wins in a close call on my ballot.
