I just don't like either of the songs, and the fact that they are in Ringo's voice doesn't enhance them... Yes, but INTOLORABLE? Please explain. Intolerable = opposite of tolerable. A bit obvious I would have thought.

If you look at the run of 4 songs, you might notice that I was attempting to have fun with graduated reactions involving the use of the word "intolerable." My sense of humour is, perhaps, not the same as everyone else's - nonetheless, I gave meself a chuckle at working my way down, and that's good enough for me!

Boys 2.00 The amazing thing is that at the time, no one thought this was gay. It shows you how times have changed. You know, I'm starting to wonder ... is THAT why some of you don't like BOYS? I have never really subscribed to the term "homophobia" (I think that's a load of nonsense that the gay community thought up to give themselves more credibility and make heteros the ones with "a problem")... but now I'm beginning to wonder..... Anyway, in BOYS, Ringo sings " My girl says when I kiss her lips...", so people should be able to see they're not lusting for boys.

Boys is my favorite Ringo song until you get to Yellow Submarine. It rocks and is a lot of fun!

I kept thinking why is that little button still lit up? I've looked at everything. I gave it a 2.0 on it's own merits. I don't think there was a chance in the world that the Beatles would have done a gay song on, what was this their first album, second album? We are much more enlightened now. Hell, I said somewhere else here about John, in the '70s, it was almost rock chic to go a little gay. I haven't looked but I'll bet on youtube, the gay thing probably comes up a lot on this song. I just pointed it out as an afterthought that in the early '60s, it didn't occur to anyone that it sounded gay. Just like I'll point out, as an afterthought, that I don't think Ringo does this song live anymore, does he?
