The only Ringo albums I've heard are Sentimental Journey (which is pretty bad, except for "Night and Day") and Beaucoups of Blues (which is great).
Can't say as I'm motivated to hear any others, although some of his recent ones seem to have been half-decent.
I do wish he had gone further with the C&W vibe of Beaucoups of Blues, and I think this suits his persona and voice really well.
On the subject of Ringo's albums, does he actually drum on all of his own records? (Sorry if that's a stupid question, but I have no idea.)

It is one of the better solo albums by any of the Beatles. Even the so-called "filler" is pretty good stuff and the best stuff ("Photograph", "I Am The Greatest", "Six O'Clock", "Devil Woman") composes the genesis of a decent Beatles album. And yes Ringo usually does his own drumming. Often he had Jim Keltner drumming too on the early stuff. I'm not as certain about all the later albums.

I'll have a go.....
SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY -- Love is a Many Spendoured Thing--sappy, but good.
BEAUCOUPS OF BLUES -- Beaucoups Of Blues--I can't recall one other song from this LP
RINGO -- Photograph--predictable, but the correct choice
GOODNIGHT VIENNA -- Snookeroo--Love this underrated song
RINGO'S ROTOGRAVURE -- A Dose Of Rock N Roll--almost went with "You Don't Know Me at All" cause of the funny "Bald Ringo" video
RINGO THE 4TH -- Wings--Although, the B-side, "Just a Dream" was really my favorite (wish I could find or download it)
BAD BOY -- A Man Like Me--Can't get the image of Ringo singing this wearing a white leisure suit at the end of the Ognir Rrats TV special
STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES -- Wrack My Brain--Thank you George
OLD WAVE -- She's About A Mover
TIME TAKES TIME -- Don't Go Where The Road Don't Go
VERTICAL MAN -- La De Da
I WANNA BE SANTA CLAUS -- Winter Wonderland--or Christmas Dance if it has to be an original song
RINGO RAMA -- I Think therefore I Rock and Roll--Never Without You has some hackneyed lyrics
CHOOSE LOVE -- Oh My Lord
LIVERPOOL 8 -- Liverpool 8
Y NOT -- Who's You Daddy--dirty old Ringo!
RINGO 2012 -- Wings--Twice as Nice! [/quote]

I obtained and then played multiple times all of Ringo's solo albums and overall they were much better than i was expecting. I think Sentimental Journey is streets ahead of Beaucoups of Blues, i think he missed the mark with that album, i'd need to re listen to the albums again to be more analytical because those albums are not part of what i generally listen to..
